Lisara Junior Badminton Club was founded in 2002 and has a membership of about 50 shildren between 7-17 year od age. All members are affiliated to the Badminton Union of Ireland and are therefore covered by the branches insurance policy.
We have Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17 teams playing in the Down Badminton League
Some of our players have been selected to represent Down in the Youth Games and there are also opportunities for players to be selected for other squads.

Lissara Senior Badminton Club was founded 1932 and the first known Captain was Mr J McRobert. More history on the club will be presented soon
The Senior club meets on a Friday evening between 8.30 p.m. -11.00 p.m. and has a membership of about 25 adults. We have two teams playing in the Ulster League and Friday nights club is friendly and relaxed with adults of all abilities being made welcome.
