Message (Alan Burke)

The Center For Mental Health .org in 2024 estimated the economic and social costs of mental ill health in England. They put the figure at £300 billion which takes in government costs, industry costs, and personal costs. That’s roughly equivalent to 9% of the UK GDP and that is only England. In the same year the NHS budget was £188.5 billion. There is a solution, in Canada as part of the process when seeking medical help for mental ill health you are offered assisted dying, while there would be a negative cost to the economy in the short term in the long term euthanising all those with mental ill health surely would be of economic benefit would it not?

In the adult care sector in England there were 673,000 people receiving long-term local authority arranged or provided adult social care at a cost of £24.5 billion that equates to £36,400.16 per person. Now that doesn’t include what people are contributing themselves or family members to the cost. The chancellor Rachel Reeves is facing a £20 billion black hole in the governments budget and there is a solution bring in a government mandated systematic euthanasia program for those who require care and not only would Reeves fix her budget she would free up 1.63 million people to work in other sectors as the UK is suffering an acute shortage of workers.

Also since the beginning of this year up to the end of October there were 36,000 people crossed the channel. The solution comes from Trump. The U.S. military, under Trump, has conducted a series of strikes against boats they claimed were involved in drug trafficking. Well the British military could do the same to the small boats and that would solve that political hot potato and save all the housing and support costs. You know it costs the UK taxpayer 41k a year for every illegal immigrant on housing and support according to the IPPR in 23/24 more than the government spends on caring for the elderly.

So to sum it up, to help fix the UK economy we euthanise those with mental health, those receiving long term local authority adult social care and shoot the small boats out of the water. I really hope that you did not shout “Amen” at the screen as you read what is said above and that you were horrified, aghast, appalled by it. The reason I started like this is that I want to give you an extreme because the question comes who has the right to decide the value of human life?

Are we even capable of deciding, because I don’t think we are. The argument is given by many that we need euthanasia because it is kinder, we allow people to die with dignity, because we have the right to choose and it can be safely regulated but the value of life should not be determined by its benefit to others, or what it can contribute to society there is a profound value to human life and to us today the LORD God says “You shall not murder”.

Actually the Hebrew word also covers causing human death through carelessness or negligence and as the week goes on we will draw out some more of what this commandment means for us but for now know that the LORD values life, your life, my life, the life of those with mental ill health, those in long term local authority social care the small boat migrants and the life of all of those who have been conceived in their mothers wombs whose life will be taken this day and called health care. When we loose sight of this command of the LORD then we have no basis for saying that any human life has value, society then decides the value of one life. They decide if the value of your life is greater than an other. They decide if an illegal immigrant is of greater value than an octogenarian, someone with lots of letters after their name is of greater value than someone without. But the LORD says all life is of value even yours.

Q15 What was the sin whereby our first parents fell from the estate wherein they were created?
A. The sin whereby our first parents fell from the estate wherein they were created, was their eating the forbidden fruit.
